Nations Roofing works with a variety of roofing materials. Following a roof inspection, we consult with clients to determine the idea option for the repair, replacement, or even new installation. The type of roofing material recommended balances the needs of the project with the available budget. The types of roofing material we most commonly work with include:
- Asphalt Shingles
- TPO (Thermoplastic Polyolefin)
- PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride)
- Metal Roofing Restoration
Asphalt shingles are the most common types of roof systems for steep slope roofs. They are available in a variety of colors and levels of durability. They are a popular option, especially for residential roofs, because they are cost-effective, and have a relatively easy installation process.
TPO (Thermoplastic Polyolefin) is a single-ply roofing system which is most often used for commercial and industrial roofs. In addition to being long-lasting, TPO membranes offer the additional benefit of being resistant to contaminants such as grease and oil–whereas other flat roofing membrane systems, like EPDM, do not offer this types of resilience.
PVC roofing is another membrane system that utilizes two layers of PVC separated by a layer of polyester which provides structural reinforcement. PVC roofs, when installed and maintained properly, offer decades of protection.
Coatings – Metal Roof Restoration
Roof coatings are used for restoration projects that require more significant repairs than changing sections of the roof or patching leaks. In many cases even though a roof may need extensive repairs, it does not necessarily require a complete replacement, and can be restored using a variety of coating materials including silicone and acrylic.
